MD and PhD in Medicine and Surgery, specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, is President of the Medical Board and member of the medical team of Mutualitat de Futbolistes Catalans and member of the medical team of the RFEF. Head of Orthopedic and Traumatology Surgery Service and Co-Director of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at Hospital Quiron Barcelona. He collaborates as an Associate Professor in the Faculties of Medicine of the University of Barcelona (UB) and the International University of Catalonia (UIC). President of the Board of Trustees of the Garcia Cugat Foundation for Biomedical Research. Co-Director of the Garcia Cugat Foundation Chair in Medicine and Regenerative Surgery at CEU-Cardenal Herrera University. Part to the international team of teachers of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Sports Traumatology (ISAKOS). Full member of the Royal European Academy of Doctors.

Bachelor's and Doctoral Degree at the Faculty of Medicine of the UB and completed post-graduate and specialty studies in Arthroscopic Surgery and Sports Traumatology in the Department of Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy of the Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology Service of the Massachusetts General Hospital of the University of Harvard (Massachusetts, USA). Visiting professor - Sports Medicine Massachusetts General Hospital. Harvard Medical School 1995. First Augustus Thorndike Visiting Lecturer in Sports Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital 1998. Pioneer in the area of regenerative medicine since 2000 and its application in trauma with Plasma Rich in Growth Factors. Formed many doctors in the area of traumatology and sport medicine in different countries. Constant contributor in multiples scientific articles published in the highest impact international peer-reviewed journals and published many books on arthroscopic procedures and surgical treatments of the joint.
